Non riesco a capire perché non hanno semplicemente iniziato a distribuire i sorgenti solo ai clienti paganti e/o rilasciare sotto AGPLv3… Perché prima a chiunque e poi a nessuno? La GPL non “obbliga” a rilasciare i sorgenti indiscriminatamente ma a rilasciarli solo a chi usa il programma o riceve una copia del binario.

Prossimamente si svolgeranno le elezioni europee. Mi sembra quindi opportuno segnalarvi che Carlo Piana, avvocato che stimo molto si candida per il Partito Pirata Vi consiglio di leggerne il programma, https://www.partito-pirata.it/ceep19/ dovrebbe essere quello più bendisposto verso il Software Libero e le libertà delle persone online.
Nell’immagine vedete due piastre in cui sono stati coltivati dei batteri. I dischetti contengono diverse molecole di antibiotico: più è grande l’alone vuoto intorno, più vuol dire che il farmaco è efficace. Nella piastra sulla destra sono cresciuti batteri resistenti, che riescono a sopravvivere anche nelle immediate vicinanze di un farmaco che dovrebbe ucciderli. Immaginate di avere una polmonite, prendere un antibiotico e anziché migliorare, continuate a stare male e addirittura peggiorate. Ecco, questa è l’antibiotico-resistenza.
