Father Ragheed Aziz Ganni<\/a> was a Chaldean Catholic priest in Mosul, Iraq, who gave his life for Christ on June 3, 2007. Despite repeated threats and orders to close his church, he continued to celebrate the Eucharist, insisting that the faithful needed the sacraments to survive spiritually. After celebrating Mass on the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, he and three subdeacons were confronted by gunmen and brutally murdered. His martyrdom stands as a powerful witness to unwavering faith, pastoral courage, and love for the Church even unto death<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
