Then I realized that academia wants LaTeX. <s>Or Word<\/s>. Luckily there are a lot of way to convert Typst documents to LaTeX <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Typst to LaTeX conversion<\/strong> is primarily handled by dedicated converters that translate markup, math, tables, and structure, as many academic journals still require LaTeX submissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Conversion Tools<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tylax<\/strong>: A high-performance, bi-directional converter written in <strong>Rust<\/strong> that supports CLI, web interfaces, and Rust libraries. It uses AST-based parsing to preserve document structure and handles <strong>TikZ<\/strong> graphics (converting to CeTZ) and complex macros.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Underleaf<\/strong>: A free, in-browser converter that translates Typst to LaTeX as you type.
