How to install Ubuntu on computer with UEFI

My wife asked for a new laptop. But while she finds Linux great – I’ve been exclusively using Linux since 1997 – some software requires for schooling out children sadly runs only on Windows. So she asked me for a Win10 laptop. Then, after an uneasy small silent pause she asked me “but you can still install Linux alongside, can’t you?”.

I’m so glad I married a wonderful woman!
