5 tasks Linux users don’t do

I just read 5 Windows maintenance tasks I finally stopped doing and I can’t stop smiling: Linux users never had to do those tasks; here they are:

  • Using registry cleaners unneeded.
  • Running Disk Cleanup well, actually sometimes we do…
  • Defragmenting (or optimizing) drives: Linux never fragmented the disk since, well… forever
  • Using third-party driver updaters
  • Uninstalling programs one by one …. apt purge program1 program2 program3 ... programN or just use some GUI; it’s the same
