Messaggistica a confronto

Dicekeys
I found those Dicekeys, on Wired many months ago.
The idea looks really good but they still haven’t shipped any of those boxes. The app https://dicekeys.app/ is still online. Good idea. We may just use other D&D dices….
I may check if my dices are fair, diving them in super-saturated water!

E-mail providers – which one to choose?
Time has come
What a change from the original “Don’t-be-evil” Google! The shiny knight is slowly but constantly turning into an harsh evil tyrant. See what Yeupou writes at the beginning of Fetching mails from gmail.com with lieer/notmuch instead of fetchmail – # cd /scratch
Google is gradually making traditional IMAPS access to gmail.com impossible, in it’s usual opaque way.
So the time has come to leave Google. It will be a tiring effort, it will be difficoult, but it has to be done.
Ok Toyota, so I will never buy your cars
It’s good to know, Toyota: as long as you will patently violate the privacy of the owner of the cars you built I will avoid buying them and I will actively ask people to avoid you.
The question now is: how many of the other manufactures do the same?
China Is Now Blocking All Encrypted HTTPS Traffic That Uses TLS 1.3 and ESNI – Slashdot
China Is Now Blocking All Encrypted HTTPS Traffic That Uses TLS 1.3 and ESNI – Slashdot
The reason for the ban is obvious for experts. HTTPS connections negotiated via TLS 1.3 and ESNI prevent third-party observers from detecting what website a user is attempting to access. This effectively blinds the Chinese government’s Great Firewall surveillance tool from seeing what users are doing online.
So the question is: how can we help Chinese people to avoid the regime’s prying eyee?
[LineageOS 17.1] Download LineageOS 17.1 for Redmi Note 8T
https://www.cyanogenmods.org/redmi-note-8t-lineageos-17-1/
I bought a RedMi Note 8T in the middle of lockdown. It was one of the few available and I needed it to use as camera to livestream Holy Masses. I hadn’t much choice even if I wanted to avoid Chinese communist dictatorship as much as possible. Communism is intrinsically evil.
Now I can fully deGoogle it. The great G holds too much data and too much power over too much people. It’s easy to become evil with too much power.
