Quite obviously when you ask Google to search for “ethical smartphone” it answer with a glowing FairPhone as first answer.
Among the answer pages shown there’s http://www.ethicalconsumer.org/buyersguides/phonebroadband/mobilephones.aspx that tells us that the only other reasonable choice is LG phones.
That’s mostly surprising to me…
Other products don’t look minimally viable from ethical point of view.
I wonder how many people will accept to pay a 2x price premium.
I’ve been using WordPress to log all recordings at work, since ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems allows digital recordings since its 2008 release.
One of the aspects where it currently is lacking is the policies for data conservations.
You name it: backups.
Actually it hasn’t been a real issue for quite a long time, since most of recording used to be generated… ehrm, on paper.
I know lots of places where a developer can and has worn a hoodie to work. This includes my current office. A good rule of thumb is, the stricter the dress code – the less competent the management is. The hiring process is probably worse.
