Unfinished

I found this photo on the website of professional association of architects of Monza and Brianza.

It makes me feel sad: I personally designed the concretes used to built that unfinished tower.  Then I found this petition asking to demolish it. Then I don’t feel sad. Sadness turns into anger.

Good luck! I recently tested some specimen of the concrete used to build the structure. My press of 2000kN (200 tons) couldn’t break it unless I force it beyond its safety limits. They broke at 950 kg/cm². I gave them a concrete that turned out to be a high-streght, high-performance concrete. That skeleton of steel and concrete won’t break as easily as they want!

Because they want to demolish it!

Instead of trying to find some good use for a structure that is built to last decades they just want to demolish it! It’s so easy to destroy. All they are able to do is destroy the work of other people. I poured my best efforts to design, test and produce the best possible ready-mix concrete for those structure and they want to destroy my work. We will never exit this economical crisis  until people change attitude, giving up their destructiveness, beginning to look for good deeds coupled with earnest and continuous efforts.

Ah, the tower is here

You may wonder why I’m writing this rant in English when it seems to be meant for my fellow citizens of Desio.

I feel that those who can read this may understand me more easily while those who can’t think positive and be pro-active, those who are only able to criticize and destroy the work of other people are more unlikely to able to read this in English1.

I shall definitively pick all the photos I made and publish them here.
